What is the Malcolm Cannon Engineering Scholarship

The Malcolm Cannon Engineering Scholarship honors the life and legacy of Malcolm Cannon, a
Professional Electrical Engineer who dedicated 66 years to solving engineering challenges with
excellence, innovation, and integrity. As a leader at the Navy Public Works Center in Norfolk, Virginia,
Malcolm was recognized not only for his professional achievements but also for his unwavering faith,
service to the church, and willingness to use his skills to help others.
This scholarship supports underprivileged students pursuing engineering degrees who demonstrate
academic potential, a commitment to Christian values, and a desire to serve God through their work.
Preference is given to students who are committed to using their engineering education to improve the lives of people in developing and underserved regions
