Alleviating suffering and poverty in communities
What is Mission Restore Hope
Mission Restore Hope is designed to uplift communities facing the impact of poverty and suffering. Mission 1414, Inc. works collaboratively with individuals and groups to provide sustainable ways to alleviate poverty, restore dignity, and create lasting change through Christ-led compassionate service. Through Mission Restore Hope, Mission 1414, Inc. is closing the social inequality gap by helping individuals and communities have access to the resources, opportunities, and support they need to thrive, regardless of their background. Mission Restore Hope program ministers to orphans and vulnerable children (OVC), widows and older people, the unhoused, and victims of hunger and malnutrition, and helps people gain skills to lead economically productive lives.

The Problem
Millions of individuals, families, and communities suffer from poverty and want globally. According to the World Bank’s poverty, prosperity, and planet report 2024, more than 700 million people (approximately 9% of global population) live in extreme poverty – on less than $2.15 per day. They struggle to meet basic life needs such as food, shelter, education, and healthcare. Many are trapped in a cycle of hardship due to lack of social safety nets and sparse economic opportunities. The barriers created by these conditions make many vulnerable to exploitation, destitution, and crime.
